MORTAR & THIN SET
Type M Mortar Cement
Suggested for exterior, at or below grade foundation walls, retaining walls, manholes, sewers, pavements, walls and patios. Add water & sand.
Type N Mortar Cement
Suggested for use in exterior, above grade non-load-bearing wall applications and interior, non-load-bearing partition applications. Add water & sand.
Type S Mortar Cement
Suggested for use in exterior, above grade, load-bearing wall, parapet wall and non-load-bearing wall systems; exterior, at or below grade systems (foundation and retaining walls, manholes, sewers); and interior load-bearing walls and non-load-bearing systems. Add water & sand.
Portland Cement Type 1
A general-purpose cement suitable for all uses where the special properties of other types of portland cements are not required.
Federal White Cement
Federal White Masonry Cement Type N can be used to match, contrast, and compliment the colors of various masonry units, enhance the aesthetic color of a wall or coordinate other colors in a design.
Concrete Mix
The original 4000 psi average compressive strength blend of Portland cement, sand, and gravel or stone. Just add water. Use for any general concrete work.
Spec Mix Color Mortar
Formulated for the installation of CMU, brick, and stone applications where high mortar workability and board life is required for good bond. It may be used above or below grade when manufactured to the appropriate specification. Just add water.
Ardex x5
A highly versatile, polymer modified mortar with an easy to apply creamy consistency ideal for setting all sizes of porcelain, ceramic, quarry, mosaic and most natural stone tile over common interior surfaces and exterior concrete and masonry surfaces.
Ardex x77
Comprised of a specialty blend of high performance microfibers and ARDEX polymer specialty cements. Installations including setting large format porcelain, glass, quarry, most natural stone, ceramic and all types of mosaic tile for exterior and interior installations.
Ardex x78
For setting porcelain, glass, quarry, ceramic, all types of mosaic and most natural stone* tiles over exterior concrete and masonry surfaces, and common interior surfaces, exterior grade plywood, large format tile installations. Very high bond strength, highly flexible for excellent shear resistance. Ideal for high traffic.
Ardex AM 100
A smoothing and ramping mortar for vertical and horizontal concrete and masonry surfaces that reduces the preparation time prior to the installation of all types of tile. It can also be used to slope balconies and create slope to drains.
Ardex x90
Delivers maximum protection against the
harshest weather conditions and provide the highest levels of efflorescence resistance for exterior tile and stone applications. Can be installed over substrates with temperatures as low as 40˚F and can withstand driving rains or be grouted in only 2 hours.
Schluter All Set
Specialized and modified thin-set mortar for use as a bond coat within tile assemblies that is optimized for use with Schluter membranes and boards. It is sag-resistant and ideal for setting tile on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Heat Stop 50
These dry-mix refractory mortars are made from high temperature cements and carefully selected aggregates that will not expand or tear the mortar apart when heated. Once dried, these products are non-water soluble and more acid resistant than any other type of product used in these applications.
Ardex MRF
Moisture-Resistant, Rapid-Drying, Skimcoat Patching Underlayment is a trowel-grade underlayment formulated from a blend of Portland cement and other hydraulic cements that provides a smooth surface prior to the installation of Ardex MC Moisture Control Systems or moisture-resistant adhesives and flooring.
Ardex OVP
A trowelable Portland cement-based finishing compound used to fill and smooth interior and exterior vertical concrete surfaces such as tilt-up walls, pre-cast or poured in place concrete panels, and other concrete or masonry surfaces prior to sealing or painting.
Ardex CD Fine
A concrete resurfacing compound modified with high-performance polymers for exceptional bond strength. Once applied, it can be broom textured before it sets for a reduced-slip surface.
